It all depends on the present design of your particular CDU, and on what the purpose of separating the kerosene into a light and heavy kero is: how sharp does that separation have to be? What are the keros going to be used for?
There are two options:
1) install a new distillation column to separate the Kerosene from the CDU into a Light Kero (LK) and a Heavy Kero (HK) fraction. This is probably the most expensive option but gives the sharpest separation between the LK and HK products.
2) add a drawoff plus a new sidestripper for the additional kero product. This will most likely require the crude column to be cut so as to insert a new piece with additional trays to have sufficient fractionation between the LK and the HK as well as between the keros and the naphtha and/or gasoil products. It will also have an iompact on position of pumparounds on the crude column, and therefor also has an impact on the heatintegration (such as crude preheat) of the CDU.

Dear Pingpong,
Thank you very much for the information. It gives the clear idea for me to proceed further.
