Hi all.

I'm putting PID controllers in a HYSYS dynamic simulation. Does anyone know what does it mean "external" and "internal" on Parameters>>Configuration window?

Please see attached picture.

Hello Tiz,

Internal Execution means that the signals generated by the controller in the simulation stay within HYSYS.

 

External Execution means that the signals generated by the controller are sent to DCS (of course, if there is a DCS connected to HYSYS simulation).
