Hi guys I am Henry from Indonesia
I am considering to continue my master degree on chemical engineering in US, focus on energy storage( especially on graphene)
I get scholarship and they gave me preference as this list:

1. Michigan State University
2. North Carolina State University
3. University of Houston
4. University of South Carolina

Do you have any idea for me, maybe to change the preference ?
University of Pittsburgh vs University of Houston, which one is better?
Thank You

I would look at the programs the schools offer, and base my decision on that.

In Houston, you will be at the center of the energy industry. But not necessarily batteries.

And it's a lot colder in Michigan and even North and South Carolina.

But seriously, if you are going into Grad School, it would make a lot of sense to inquire as to the professors you will be working under in Grad School and their expertise as well as reviews from past students (if possible).  Some professors are simply hell to work under.  I pass on this feedback from Chem Engs. that have gone through several Grad Schools in Chemical Engineering.  But at the same time there are Profs that have a waiting list of students want to work under them.
