I was about to build an algorithm for heat exchanger design while there's condensation inside the tubes (not outside).

The most sophisticated corr for Nu number is by Dobson and Chato (1998), but it requires to know vapour fraction in whole multiphase.

Has anyone used correlation (eq. 10) in here?

The Martinelli parameter depends on vapour mass fraction. How to get it as it needs vapour and liquid mass fluxes to get.

I thought preparing heat and mass balance over the exchanger, but for that I need the Nusselt indeed and in general it be differential.

Has anyone used that before?

Cheers,

Consider the link above for 2 phases .

Good luck
