Hi Sunlias

Can you please explain more what kind of result do you want from the dynamic simulation?

thank you AlertO....i really appreciate your concern....actually i am using wastewater from a petrochemical industry as a case study....and the wastewater contains majorly phenols, BOD,COD, mineral oils chromium.....please can you recommend a software for me between chemcad and aspenplus  and also help me with what you know i might need.....thanks very much

Hi Sunlias

I have less experience about simulation on wastewater treatment so i can't help you much in details. However, i try to emmphasize in some key points you have to know as follows:

1. Wastewater treatment strongly depends on the technology you use. So please ensure that you have look through many types of water treatment process and come up with the selected one which should be suitable for your waste water.

2. Many of process technologies including waste treatment are in-house knowledge and you can't use the typical simulation software to model it unless you have the experimental data which you have to create an user model and insert it into the program.

3. You mentioned aboutt the dynamic simulation, but i'm not sure what do you mean? The dynamic simulation will be done when you what to see the change of process parameter with time which is different from stead-state process simulation. Do you exactly require it?

Hope this may help you.
