To
Cheresources viewers,

Dear All,

We are facing lot of problems with Titanium Dioxide-Anatase grade powder.

We charge the Titanium Di Oxide(TiO2)-Anatase grade powder into our reactor during our manufacturing process of our product. TiO2 being a powder (particle size of about 40 microns) sticks to the feeding hopper as well as to the screw feeder system. We are forced to pour the TiO2 manually into the reactor.

Our screw feeding system parameters are as follows.
Feeding rate 60-75 Kilograms per hour.
MOC of feeder SS-304

We will be happy ( profitable too!!) if one(more nos are also accepted!!) of the viewing fraternity help us and get rid of this problem.

Thanking You

You can contact "Cybernetik Technologies" in Pune. They are good at material handling. Maybe they can help you out.

ramnathsharma,
If you can accept the hopper and the conveyor also always retaining a small quantity of TiO2, then what would be wrong with continuing to use the materials handling equipment you already have in place? TiO2 will not degrade, so as far as I can see, you haven't defined a problem that would nullify this.
