Hey people,

How can i reduce the stream pressure (say 150kPa) to atmospheric pressure while maintaining the same flow rate? Can i use an expander? The thing is that the flow rate must be maintained. Thank you very much

regards

Ben:

An orifice could do it for you -- pressure drop with no work done.

An expander is another possibility, but here you get some work done.

Thanks,

Gordan
