[b]Dear Friends
I myself Ritunesh Kumar (Research Scholar ) IIT Delhi is working on liquid desiccant system. I am using wire-mesh as packing material. I need to know, how to calculate following things.
1. I am using wire mesh with specification (dia, pitch) (1,1) mm stainless steel as packing. How can i calculate specific surface area of packing?
2. How to calculate nominal diameter of the packing?
3. Which type of mass transfer correlation will be most suitable for this type of packing?
Waiting for your suggestions.
Thanking you
