Hi

Sorry about the amateurish equations, seems like Mathjax doesn't work here..

Why, when fick's law expressed in mass fractions, the total mixture density isn't inside the gradient: Flux=-( mixture density)*(Diffusion coeff)*gradient(component mass fraction)
I'm confused because the concentration of the component within the mixture is  C=( mixture density)*(component mass fraction)
What am i missing here?

Thanks!

Tsino,

I attached related information, from the book: "Heat Transfer" of Y. Cengel.
