Hello everyone !

I'm looking for a solution about the wax removal from the process gas in polypropylene unit.

outlet gas from the DPM columns is sent to a compressor and the wax particles deposit inside the compressor.

It seems we have to select a filter to wax removal. I know in refrigeration units the " filter driers" is used to wax removal.

However i don't know whether we can use it or not, and how could we select a proper one.

Hi

You need to add wax inhibitor and also keep temp above 400C , I faced this problem in one my project. and wait for some more experts to comment on your issue.
