Hello,

 

In my case i am using matlab interfacing to change compositions of feed stream. basically changing each component of stream by multiple values such as 1%,2%,3%. Although I have successfully written the code to implement change, but after each component change and subsequent simulation run, I have to reset the feed stream to original values in order for next change (eg 2%).

 

for now i have just made clones of feed streams and i just manually change feed stream after each run.

 

Thus it would be great if i could automate the process of resetting feed stream, as it would save me a lot of time.

Why not use absolute values instead of relative values? Such as moles/hr. You must program Matlab such that you make changes in Matlab then poke them back into the simulator. I don't use Matlab, but I do similar things with Excel automation.
