It appears that the question is asking for the derivation of an equation describing plug flow through a packed bed with a rate of adsorption described by a Langmuir isotherm.  With no axial nor radial dispersion the material balance simplifies to a 2-dimensional problem.  I know that the book Principles of Adsorption and Adsorption Process by Douglas M. Ruthven will discuss the adsorption portion of the problem while Bird Stewart and Lightfoot would tackle the derivation of the material balance using shell balances.
