I have configured detailed tray internals in steady state column/internals tab in Aspen hysys. but I am getting choke flood error for all trays that it exceeds 100 percent  choke flood. In my process flows, I have exceeded the flow of  reflux by 6 kg/hr to match top draw and bottom draw. due to this, I think this is happening., but how to eliminate that error without changing the top flows and reflux flows.

I would obtain a solution without tray details. Then rate the trays with one of the vendor programs.

The tray design should be based on the vapor and liquid load.

Is the tray rating utility in HYSYS actually representative of your trays? My plant has a bespoke tray design that cannot be covered by these simple utilities. I utilize the Kister & Haas flooding correlations in a spreadsheet function in lieu.
