Can anyone recommend literature regarding flowrate calculations through vessel
inlet distributor piping? To be more specific, this piping is on the inlet to diesel
fuel salt driers and jet fuel clay treaters. It consists of a branched piping network
with sealed ends and numerous holes located either on the top or bottom of the
pipes. I am wanting to verify the size and number of holes is adequate for the
volume of material we want to flow through these vessels.
Any help will be appreciated.
