I want to set the Level of Concerns in API Tank to storage Diesel, it has the following characteristic: D= 85 Ft, H= 40 Ft, API 650 recommended to calculate the Freeboard, sloshing but i have some problems to understand the equations. Anyone have a differente choice to calculate the freeboard.

API 650 contains an appendix about the sloshing considerations from seismic events as well that needs to be considered. In high seismic zones this increases the freeboard requirement.
