Foaming occurs when pumping chlorine water (600 ppm) with 10 HP pump. Is there a way to overcome this problem but still maintain the required flowrate?

Presumably the foam will be formed at the interface between the liquid surface and the air in the tank.
Is the problem that there is foaming in the pump?
Why is there a reason to believe that there is foaming in the pump when the foam is formed in the tank?
Foam is essentially bubbles of air. If the pump is primed, why is there air in the pump?
Are we missing some additional information required to understand the problem?

Is adding a defoamer feasible?

may be due to gas coming out of water. you can use a different pump other tan centrifugal.
