Hi, So I have a a simulation.hsc file and when I open it on HYSYS I get the following message:

"File "Simulation.hsc" was created ub build 8909 and cannot be read by build 8433. Files created in a newer version of HYSYS cannot be opened in an older version of HYSYS"

I've done some research and found that if I convert the file to XML, I can then open it in my version of hysys.

Is this true? If so would it be possible to sent my file to someone who can the convert it to XML and send it back to me?

Thanks in advance

Yes It's true

HYSYS does not run file created in new version on older version of HYSYS. You need to run the file same version(in which file was created) or latest than that. the same file then needed to be saved as .xml extension. this xml file then be placed on window of any older version of HYSYS. Initially the file will open as unconverged file you need to run the simulator to ON.
