Hello everybody,
I've a quite sticky problem: I need to design a system of stabilized condensate tanks (about 15000 cubic meters) to be installed on a floating production unit (FPSO), but I actually have no idea of which are the recommended practices or guidelines to be followed.
I'd like to know (even according to your experience) if there is any specific reference about this subject (handbooks, pubblications, ecc.).
Thanks in advance, any hint will be very appreciated.

Wouldn't the liquid product tanks on an FPSO be in the hull of the ship and be designed in accordance with the tanker specifications? Building a large API tank on the deck of a ship would be unwise as it creates a high center of gravity and loads due to ship motion.
