I am asked to write a tank ventilation report. I have calculated the inbreathing and the outbreathing. What should I do next with these numbers ? Take into consideration the tank will have gooseneck open vent. Should I use these numbers to size the vent or use the gas rate to size the vent.
Please I need your help guys.
Thanks in advance.

First and foremost, what do you mean by a tank ventilation report? Have you been given detailed instructions on its content?
I suspect you that you have been given the details, so why don't you share those with our members so that the correct comments and recommendations can be offered to you?
Kindly respond with the basic data required to address your query.

It will be mainly composed of the following:
1) In-breathing and Out-breathing Calculations;
2) Open Vent Sizing;
3) Nozzle Sizing.
Please if you have any recommended topic to be added in-order to improve the report, let me know.
Thanks.
