Hi,
I have found foaming in cooling water system since last year. We did not change any cooling water treatment chemical. However, to decrease foaming accumulation in cooling water system we just revome it mechanically. We also have consulted with the chemical supplier but the problem still exist although we have followed their recommendation, including charge a new cooling water treatment chemical.
Please help me, why does foaming appeared in cooling water? And how to remove it chemically?
Thanks a lot for your advises.

Hi Lukman,
At first, I would like to know what product you are producing in the plant? The cooling water system is in the closed loop circulation normally go the heat exchanges. I suspect your product have gone into your cooling water system due to tube leaks in the heat exchanges. I believe you have sent a cooling water sample to check on the content. If any soapy, acidic material found in your water. Yes, it will form foaming issue. Hope it helps.
