Start with the catalyst manufacturer's guidelines and improve upon them for your specific situation. Can you unload the catalyst wet?

Hi ,
You need to be extremely cautious with this type of operation .I'm aware of fatality ( hydrogenation reactor burst) because the SOP was not understood or followed .
In any case you need knowledgeable people within your organization to support you ,approve the SOP and follow the operation .
A description of your process will be helpful .
Good luck .

The process is Ammonia production in which the Low Temperature Shift Conversion catalyst Copper in its reduced state is kept under positive nitrogen pressure by continuous supply. Personnel wearing appropriate PPEs and having adequate help are only used. Also , to be noted is that the personnel are experts in the same field. My question is that whether there are any established standards to be followed such as OSHA or OISD.
