Dear Friends,
Please help me out with which Thermodynamic model to be used for Aspen Simulation for Ammonia absorption or scrubbing with water.
Thank you

please , only one post :-)
About your question, in separations you need to solve mass + heat balance, which means fugacity (phase equilibria) and enthalpy (heat balance), at Cheresources you may find several threads discussing these topics,
as general rule, you may select some extended EOS (I have not access to Aspen but, as example, the Peng Robinson Extended with Huron Vidal mixing rules, available in Prode Properties gives low errors -compared to standard version- for liquid properties as heat capacity and it is very accurate for phase equilibria) , or you can select CPA based models (can be more accurate for association mixtures), for enthalpy you can also select BWR based models etc.

Hi ,
You did not supply much info about your process,
If the solution is very diluted , you might consider Henry 's law ?
Good luck

After reviewing several articles, generally as mentioned above, models such as peng-robinson and SRK are used
