Hi all

Presently i'm working in MENA. we have LNG plant and Methanol plant, LNG plant is shutdown because of low gas supply while methanol plant is in operation. Methanol plant furnace damaged during startup. LNG gas plant furnace for Dryer regeneration gas furnace is spare and management would like to replace it. here is data for both furnaces for information and considerations.

Methanol Furnace:

total Heat capacity MAX/MIN (M kcal/hr)= 5.18/ 1.29

Pressure inlet / outlet barg = 25.8 / 22.4

Temp in/ out 0C = 110/ 400

Flow rate nm3/hr max/ min= 39947/1500

Fuel gas flow (MMSCFD): 0.58

Flue gas temp 0c = 760

Regeneration Gas Furnace:

total Heat capacity MAX/MIN (M kcal/hr)= 10.13/1.34

Pressure inlet / outlet barg = 47.4 /39.4

Temp in/ out 0C = 21.1/ 371.1

Flow rate nm3/hr max/ min= 48729/8896

Fuel gas flow (MMSCFD): 1.5

Flue gas temp 0c = 788

I look forward to hear comments on design point of view and operational point of view.

Regards

I have no clue mate. However, have you tried some of external resources? Like lce, reliabilityweb or https://www.roadtoreliability.com/? They have even resource pages and maybe there is something you find useful.
