Dear all,
Our,s is a natural gas and condensate processing plant. The gas & condensate is received from offshore platforms in to the slug catcher for seperation and downstream units process these fluids to clean and recover value added products and the clean gas is transported to downstream consumers.
The plant is around 35 years old and is located in coastal area. Due to vintage and also due to seismic activities during the lifetime of the plant, support of major equipments have developed corrosion and even cracks at some places.
Major areas of concern are slug catcher (Finger type having 48" dia of each finger and length of 500 meters, total 48 fingers) supports crack and distillation column supports (Skirt support anchor bolt are badly corroded for some columns having more than 40 meters height).
I would like to ask for help to suggest way forward for assessment of damage and subsequent repair of these supports.
Thank you.
