For exergy analysis purposes:
If I want to distribute the load of an evaporator (ex: that in an ORC) over 2 heat exchangers instead of 1 to minimize the temperature difference of the heating process and hence the exergy destruction, how do I do it?
What are the rules that should be followed, for example?
1- the temperature that I will heat up to in the first heat exchanger? before entering the second exchanger?
2- When calculating the thermal efficiency of the cycle, do I add both duties as the duty of the evaporator Qevap?
The overall heat input Qevap will remain constant, however, what is required is increasing the outlet temperature from the evaporator to increase the net work of the cycle without increasing the exergy destruction.
I would highly appreciate it if anyone supported me with references on this topic.
Thanks in advance
