How to design Pump for wet scrubber with I have data:

 

Specification of Wet Scrubber

 

Diameter: D1200 mm

Height : 4200 mm

 

How to design Pump, sizing pipe have people help to me design.

Difficult to understand your query ! 

What is the gas flowrate to treat , what is the liquid to wash the gas , what are  the specification ( inlet and outlet gas concentration of impurity to treat ) , what is the specification of the liquid ( pure liquid or contaminated liquid) ?

With the design of the column ( height /diameter/ packing height )  I guess you know the flowrates and performance of the scrubber then you have to specify the pump based on the sump ( small storage ) at the inlet and the height to bring the liquid at the top of the column + head losses. 

Minimum height of liquid is required  to prevent cavitation ( NPSHa).

 

 

Consider the documents attached to support your work .

 

You need to supply more information to get a meaningful answer

Probably you need support from knowledgeable people within your organization .

I know bit English so I can not explain to some problem is clearly.

Hi , 

Thanks for sharing your table .The only good info supplied are the gas flowrate and the power of the pump . I understand  inlet and outlet sizes are related to the gas streams , nothing for the liquid . 

My personal experience with many wet scrubbers installed  in Asia : the pump must be included in the scope of the vendor of scrubbers.

At least he should supply the necessary information to purchase the pump ( TDH vs Qv , Operating flow rate ) .

 

I cannot offer more .
