Hi all,

Please could you advise what is the maximum allowable back pressure for a pilot operated pressure vent (PCV) ?

Thanks

Sarah

Hi Breizh,

Thanks for the reply quite helpful. However, I may have asked my question the wrong way.

I'm doing a flare integration study for a producer water facility, and the calculation highlighted maximum backpressure exceed for the low-pressure pressure control valves during the continuous flaring scenario. So, my question should have been: what is the maximum allowable pressure for a low-pressure venting control valve ( The valves are pilot operated as per vendor Datasheet.).

Thanks
Sarah
