Hello
I am an undergratuated student and I am designing a heat exchanger. I couldn't be able to find how large can the temperature difference be. For example, can I use only one heat exchanger to heat directly a fluid from 293 Kelvin to 873 Kelvin, or something like that is impossible and so I should use more than one heat exchangers? What is the typical maximum temperature difference that can be achieved ?
Thank you in advance

let you consider the link above .
BTW you can also explore the subject using your favorite search engine or the one in this forum.
note : Did you ask the question to your instructor ?
remark : Process heat transfer by Kern is a good reference.
Hope this is helping you .
