Hi everyone,

Could you please help me with the below question.

Does the liquid levels (LLL, HLL ) change if the filling and emptying rate of the LPG (Spherical) Tank increase?

High Liquid Level and Low Liquid Level (HLL and LLL) are set by fiat and are not normally affected by flow rate changes or fluid level changes in the tank. HLL and LLL are typically used for triggering some control action or alarm and can be reprogrammed in the control system if a setting change is needed.

No...The HHLL, HLL, LLL and LLLL all will remain the same unless you key-in a different set points.

There is no harm if the fill-in rate is reduced, but if you increase the fill-in rate then the response time for the operator i.e. the time required to reach from HLL to HHLL will reduce. Similarly, the response time for the operator will decrease between LLL and LLLL when the pump-out rate is increased. One has to be careful with this.
