I am working hard on the hydrogen liquefaction process using Pro2 as a project right now.

This process is divided into several large process units, and especially it is difficult to design a PSA unit among them.

I  simply increase the purity of hydrogen using a stream calculator, but it is  incorrect and therefore unreliable.

I heard that the psa needs to be cycled like a 4 bed cycle, so I'm curious how to make it.

Since my Pro2 license does not work with other programs, I have to use only Pro2 to solve this process.

If anyone has a PSA example file, could you upload it?

Or any hints on how to design a PSA process using PRO2 would be appreciated.

Have a nice day. Be careful for COVID-19.

A stream calculator is the unit to use to get the effluent stream composition in the model. Why do you say it is incorrect? PSA units are not designed using only Pro/II unless you enter your own design criteria as a user-added subroutine or perhaps into a calculator unit. The other place in the model that will require customization is in the ortho-para conversion since you will want to change the hydrogen spin before liquefaction.

Oh, I am excited to get my first negative reputation point on my last post! I think it is curious it came in this thread since modeling hydrogen liquefaction processes using Pro/II is not that common. Does someone here have more experience than I do with this process? I have worked with Pro/II models of hydrogen liquefaction process and modeled PSA units using Pro/II in other types of plants as well. If there is something incorrect in my post or deficient in the attitude of my response, please explain it to me in a private message if you don't want to post it here. It is difficult to get honest feedback and I would keep the correspondence private if you would be so kind as to give it me. Thanks!
