Hello,

In my term project, I am expected to design an isothermal multitubular packed bed reactor. I am at the stage of conducting energy balance and I need heats of reactions and I am trying to calculate them with aspen. However since I have 2 complex reactions, results did not reveale. How can I calculate them using aspen? Reactions and feed conditions are attached.

Hi khalinuman,

 

I see no attachments.  To attach files, go to "Full Version", if on phone.  Once on full version, or if on PC, click "More Reply Options" and the "Attach Files" functionality is under the text window.

Use the component enthalpies at the reaction temperature, simple hand calc from there.
