In urea manufacturing process we have stripping (desorption) towers. Each tower is protected by PSV. In order to calculate PSV we need to simulate flash of carbamate, ammonia, CO2 solution. The simulation in ChemCAD is not in line with PFD due to specific thermodynamics. Do you have any idea how to adjust ChemCAD to simulate such a flash process?

several thermo models could be suitable with these mixtures,
for example cubic EoS combined with a activity model such as NRTL, or EOS with association contribute and so on...
usually data regression is required in order to fit parameters,
most simulators include these procedures,
you can also contact the developer for specific support...
