Greetings,

While mention the 3-phase separator in hysys, how much carryover should i mention?

Is any specification for this carryover like light in heavy phase, heavy in light, gas in light phase?

Phase separators in simulation are usually assumed to be ideal separation for most purposes. Put whatever carryover you need for your specific application to match your process. If you are troubleshooting downstream equipment and want to see what a little liquid in the vapor would look like, then dial some in. Simulators are a tool with a lot of options that may be rarely used.

yes, in hysys dynamic simulation mode, for vessel, you can do this, like liquid in gas, gas in liquid, it can be based on feed, product or composition something.

Carryover means the liquid leaving in the gas phase. It is specified as a design parameter.

You can find this value by hand according to your process requirements. Later chek on with the simulator, that has to bi given as input data.
