Hi,

 

For Ethylene Technology, Why we use only Thermal Cracking in Pyrolysis Furnaces and not Catalytic cracking technology here.

 

Catalyst can increases rate of reaction of Cracking also.

 

Please advice.

All is a matter of produccion cost of the ethylene products.

 

Cat ethylene production has higher cost per Tm that the thermal cracking
