Good morning / evening ,

We have for PYGAS unit twin rotary compressor  for recovery the hydrogen , the discharge controller maintain the discharge flow 7 tons , in case emergency we loss the hydrogen & the compressor be under circulation , the discharge controller if Auto will close to maintain the pressure & the discharge flow will come down & will trip the compressor . I have suggestion to install minimum close limit 50% for discharge controller .

Any advised will be appreciated.

Hi ,

You should stick to your operating manual and follow manufacturer's recommendation . Prior to do anything contact them to acknowledge your proposal with a written reply .

Note : Make sure you are clear about anti surge system and control .

my 2 cents

The anti-surge will run the compressor recycling the gas to keep the unit out of the surge limits.

I Assume your compressor has not it installed.. ????

You must install an anti-surge system as a priority engineer task
