Why chemical plant call parallel unit as Train A and Train B? So why "Train" used here?

Hi,
Imagine successive equipment, equipment in series like reactors, distillation columns, similar to consecutive carriages in a train.

It is usual to name train when there are 2 equal process units in the same chemical plant
