Hello everyone,

I was wondering what is the best way to assign a specific feed flowrate trend in a dynamic simulation. Usually, in dynamics mode, the feed flowrate is not assigned, but comes automatically from the operation of some feed control valve. But this is not so convenient if I want to test the response of the system to a specific trend. Any suggestions?

Hysys tech support may be able to answer how to control feed rate other than using a feedback control loop. I know of no other way.
