Regarding Lube oil pump discharge back pressure control (PCV) for centrifugal compressor driven by steam turbine where is the correct sensing of pressure before Lube oil cooler and filter or after ?

Hi,
You should have sensors to monitor the DP of the filter/oil cooler and a PI before or after to monitor the entire line. DCS or PLC should perform the calculation and generate alarms or thresholds to stop the compressor.
