gentlemen, could you please share your experience about my topic...

currently, we- gas producing company running four gas turbine driver centrifugal compressors in parralel to increase the pressure from onshore gas reservoirs upto downstream processing facility requirements. each train has suction drum and discharge drum and air coolers and inelt/outlet ESD valves. due to continuing depletion of the existing gas reservoir, the decision was taken to switch into series mode (each pair of compressors (LP/HP) will act as compression train). rewheeling of LP compressor and piping rerouting were considered from engineering phase of project. however the control and start up procedure is not clear till the moment. your support for the issue is highly appreciated.

This is quite complicated. You should enlist the services of professionals. And, get advice from the compressor manufacturer. What you might get in this forum may be not good advice. Then you will be left to sort through responses. Good luck in your undertaking.
