Hello everyone! 

I have to design various types of atmospheric storage tanks for ethanol, glycerol and water and work on the data sheet of each one.

I know i have to check the API 650 but i don´t have it downloaded.

Is there any bibliography recommended to fill the data sheet?

Quimarah,

While you want an “atmospheric” tank, you should insist the designer/fabricator specify the pressure and vacuum rating of the tank. Insist on them being on the nameplate. Those will be required to design the pad/depad, if any, and relief devices, even if it’s only a gooseneck vent.

Use your favorite search engine to get old version of API 650, there is online a 12th edition, 2013.
