Hello everyone,
We often see stripper and fractionation columns Hydrotreating units maintaining dew point margin.
What is its importance?
Would like to understand, is it to safeguard the overhead pipe line of the column or top trays of the column or both?
From my understanding, the first water vapour condensing causes to dissolve gases and causes salt formation which corrodes the area on which salts gets deposited.
Kindly guide.
