Hello everyone,

Could you please explain me the following: why subcooling reduces the load to the compressor?
Eventually the subcooled stream will be compressed after the evaporation step.!!?

Thanks

Hi,

Consider this document, in particular the effect of inlet temperature.

Thanks Breizh! I have seen in the past this document. I do not remember to have seen something about subcooling.
I will draw a sketch to explain better my question!

Hello, subcooled refrigerant means you require less refrigerant to circulate which reduce the load on the compressor. Eisa
