Let’s say I have a 10L cylinder with ammonia gas at 20 bar and 51 deg C. According to phase diagram, at 20 bar ammonia condenses below 50 deg C. Let’s say I cool down the cylinder to 49 deg C. Now all ammonia is liquid (but a small amount is vapor). What is the pressure now inside the cylinder? Is it just the vapor pressure of ammonia which will still be 20 bar? I am confused.
