How to solve a mass balance error in a rate based model for a regenerator column in HYSYS?

Check the threshold limits for flowrate parameters in any recycles, they will only push forward a fresh flowrate when there is sufficient difference between the values across the recycle.

Reduce the threshold and the recycle will keep the flowrate updated, reducing the discrepancy in your mass balance. 

(composition error across the recycle could also influence the mass balance).

thank you for your answer, I could finally solve the problem by playing with different parameters in the parameter tab. Especially changing the pressure drop calculation really worked.
