Dear All,

I have to design a vacuum dryer with ejector and show a pressure control mechanism. The dryer in question is operating at -0.9 barg.

Can you please help me with a suitable schematic sketch or diagram how this can be achieved? Vacuum pump unit was also an alternative, but was rejected due to higher maintenance costs.

Regards

Himanshu

I don't buy your comments about vacuum pump maintenance costs. An ejector is a mechanical device prone to erosion. What type of pump are you talking liquid ring or dry pump?

This feedback was given to us by our client who have both vacuum pump and ejector systems. Due to frequent shutdowns because of maintenance, they prefer ejector systems over vacuum pump.

Due to my limited knowledge about ejector pressure control systems, I thought to get advise here.

Thanks.

well!
use the search engine in this forum to find information about both technologies. I posted a few documents.
Good luck and follow the client's requirement.
