Dear all,

I'm doing fire gas expansion calculation for vessel,  considering fire circle to calculate the fire exposed area. Normally where the liquid is present we include which are covered inside the the fire circle for wetted area calculation)

whether same approach is required for fire gas expansion too, since it's gas filled system/no wetted area. kindly explain the requirement/procedure.

Thanks.

Hi,

To answer your question, review the paragraph 7-4-20 Leser safety handbook.

Hope this is helping you.
