I want to Separate HCL from water mixture, the components as follows.

Feed : 5,000 kg/jam

HCL 3.6%

Water 96.2%

H3PO4 0.2 %

Product that I desired.

HCL 4.8% ~ 5.0%

Water 95%

What separation technology thatt fits to this issues,

First, I Think uses distillation tower, but I concern that the HCL and water are azeotropic matters.

Note: this plant / process purpose is recovery HCL, existing was used Double Effect Falling Film evaporator (to separate the Phosphoric Acid) and I want to continue for puring the HCL to be 5%.

What do you expert thinks?

Thanks

Hi,

Consider this resource to support your work:

Note: With your input, azeotrope is not a concern .

Good luck
