im just wondering about the PID values in hysys/ unisim. Does the PID values in actual controller will respond the same behaviour if we input it in hysys/unisim? considering the same process conditions, valve CV and characteristic?

Hi,

I would say No, depending how the controller is built in each simulator. The only way to confirm is to perform a test.

The idea is the user will adjust the PID in the model depending on the actual actuator response.
