Can anybody help me understand the effect of Continuous blowdown flow to the Conductivity and Phosphate? Our CBD flow is at 3T/H with a steamflow of 250T/H at 42 barg. From our Blowdown water sample our Conductivity is below the limit but the Phosphate is above the limit. What kind adjustment from CBD i will do? Do i need to increase the flow or reduce it? Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Make sure your instruments are well and regularly calibrated.

Ask assistance to the company who supplies chemicals for your water and steam boiler treatment.

Ask a third party or your lab to confirm the analysis.

BTW what are the analytical results and specification required?

EDIT : literature about water and steam treatment.

chapter 11 , link underneath -Veolia

My 2 cents
