I want to know the suction and dischrge of centrifugal compressor must vertial together ?

Hi, I understand that you are talking about suction and discharge nozzles. None of the code mentions that it needs to be of top top type for radial split but this is a usual practice which is followed. Depending on the requirements, vendor can provide different configurations to match the client requirements and space constraints

Owner factors - conformity with other compressors on site, familiarity with maintenance and operations personnel.
From a purely functional aspect, I am not aware of any pros and cons to a top-top vs bottom-bottom configuration."
